CNY Visiting

My friends and I went visiting around Malacca this Chinese New Year and… There’s nothing much to blog about, actually. XD We drove from house to house, ate lots of cookies, drank lots of carbonated drinks, and then had dinner together at AEON… mall… place… thingy. Heh.

We spent so much they gave us free Yee Sang. Yusheng. Yuu Sahng. You know, that large dish of sliced up vegetable and fruits that the Chinese eat during Chinese New Year. Yeah. That.

Rewind a little – my friends had lunch together at Ravee’s house but I missed it ’cause I was busy plotting my escape to Korea to meet my husbands. 8D

Only problem is my Mum’s keeping my passport and she works in another state. ಠ_ಠ

After dinner, we walked for a bit and took pictures on the stage. Because we can.

Here is a glimpse of my embarrassing childhood.

Introducing, Vic Zhou Yu Min, my first idol worship idol. XD He is, unsurprisingly, 11 years older than me and I began worshipping his everything after watching Meteor Garden. Which was roughly about ten years ago. Which also meant he was about 21 years old.

I liked his character a lot in that drama. My aunt and sister always criticised how pathetic and girly he looks, but what the heck, he was what I thought a Prince Charming should be.

Except for the part about fashion, because I know nothing about the designer he mentioned. OTL

On to the interview!

We saw Cassette Playa Carri Munden’s blog. You went to the 20th Anniversary <Dazed & Confused> party. Tell us about the party that we couldn’t even go to.
Carri took me along. It was a nice atmosphere.

How did you befriend Carri Munden?
During our “Juliette” promotions, we wore a collaboration t-shirt from KTZ and Cassette Playa. Carri saw that by chance and told a Korean buyer that she was curious about who we were. That buyer turned out to be my friend. Lee Heemun was a buyer for the Daily Project before. When we went to England, Carri came to our London show. And that’s when the 20th Anniversary <Dazed & Confused> party was.

Carri Munden used to work as a stylist for <Dazed & Confused>.
Yes, so Carri took me to that party. I met everyone there! I wasn’t even nervous when I was on stage but for some reason, I was trembling there. I saw Kaya Scodelario, Gareth Pugh, and House of Holland’s Henry Holland. Oh, I was wearing a House of Holland t-shirt that day. It was one that Henry Holland personally illustrated.

Did Henry Holland notice?
He was passing by and hugged me.

Did you also meet Jefferson Hack, the publisher of <Dazed & Confused>?
Yes, Carri introduced me to him. I asked her to say that I am just a friend and not a singer from Korea. But when she introduced me as a friend, I almost said “I was on the cover of the Korean <Dazed>”! Haha.

Do you get along with Carri Munden?
We connect. Out of the people who make clothes, there are those who don’t open up to others and those who do. Carri was the type to continuously say “Let’s make this together” and put out ideas. I asked her if she can take care of outfits for SHINee’s comeback and she said “Of course!” Work overseas takes a lot of time so I’m not sure how it will work out. If we have the chance though, we want to do something fun together.

I have to ask you what your favorite designer brand is lately.
It’s Jill Sander. The colors are really beautiful. I’m going to get married in a Jill Sander suit. The top will be green and the bottom will be green. I don’t have anything else but that one. Rather than things that say “I’m a designer”, I like items that people, who just enjoy the work, make based on their taste and feelings. Vintage is good too. When we went to Spain recently, we found a lot of old stores. There were several things taken apart and put together to make new accessories. You know how there’s that Blank @ necklace that’s connected to an earphone. I bought a lot of accessories that were even messier and cooler than that.

For today’s photoshoot, you personally borrowed clothes from the shop and brought your own outfits (He brought the Miharayasuhiro knit vest, black Givenchy shirt, and a skull patterned bracelet that would suit the monster concept).
Ah, it’s not that amazing. I asked a friend for a favor and brought a few clothes that I thought were fitting.

How did you feel wearing them today?
I wore them like new clothes yesterday and like used clothes today.

How would you describe each of your clothes? Before, you wore socks with the Simpsons character on it and now you’re wearing socks with a space shuttle and an astronaut.
I always pay attention to my socks(laughs). Today, I’m all vintage except for my shoes. My shoes are John Paul Gaultier. The socks were a present and they don’t have a brand. The person said they bought it at a market. I think I bought the pants when I was passing by some place. I don’t really remember. I might have bought it at H&M when I went to Japan. Do you see how the pants are ripped? They were originally long pants but I cut them. I bought the shirt at a Korean vintage shop and the denim jacket at a LA vintage shop.

We’re curious about what you’re interested in besides vintage. Is there something that gave you a huge shock as if you were hit in the head?
The “Best Thing I Never Had” music video where Beyonce has a wedding while only wearing lingerie. How is she so beautiful? She was so beautiful to the point I was angry.

Angry?
When I was watching it, I was thinking, “How? How is she doing that in this situation?” There was something I wanted to try and I was in the middle of thinking about it. But when someone does it first, I get angry.

You weren’t thinking about the lingerie, right?
Ah, it’s not that. When we think of Beyonce, we normally think of her powerful image. A singer with that type of image sang a quiet song and shot a relaxed music video. It’s surprising that people like her like that just as much as when she’s bouncing on stage. It means that she exudes the same amount of energy in a calm song. I want to be like that as well. If people feel 100% satisfied when I dance, then I would say they feel 80% satisfied when I sing a slow song. I was thinking of how to get rid of that difference but then Beyonce pulled it off! She wore lingerie as if it were nothing. If you’re not embarrassed of it, then it’s not embarrassing. Who would have thought to shoot a video wearing lingerie and getting married for that slow song?

Which virtue do you think is the most important for a pop star to have?
It’s to know yourself well. It’s to know the things you can’t do and can do along with knowing what others think of you. One must know that in order to grow. I try to look at myself objectively.

Is that possible? Everyone has the tendency to think of themselves as fine.
Others should be able to tell you about yourself without reserve. For example, people might not tell me something because they think I’ll get hurt. I brainwashed the staff around me to always tell me if I ever go in the wrong direction because I don’t get hurt. I don’t get hurt even when I hear those things.

Because you’re cool?
Yes. I want to check all minor things like my appearance to all major things like stage manners, performance visuals, and relationships. When I get off stage, the first thing I always ask is “How was it?”

Is there someone that you can trust the most, who tells you about all those things honestly without sugar-coating it?
There’s no one in particular. I made everyone around me talk like that. Haha. For instance, hair and makeup clearly look different on and off stage. They have to tell me truthfully.

Is there something you changed after having it pointed out?
People say I’ve become gentler compared to before.

Were you not like that before?
In the past, if there was something I didn't like, I would flat out say “I don’t like it.” I say the same thing now, but more jokingly so the person listening won’t be embarrassed. I couldn’t stand things that I hate and I’m the type to say things right then and there. I heard that I was too harsh, so I tried hard to change. Lately, the fans have been saying that I forgot how to get upset.

What can you not put up with the most?
Being witless. Then I would say “You’re being witless.”

You keep emphasizing wit and sense in your interviews. Are you witty and sensible?
Haha, I try. I don’t know about sensible, but I think I am very quick-witted.

You said that you try to look at yourself objectively. Then looking at yourself as a person on stage who sings and dances, what do you think your strengths and weaknesses are?
My biggest strength is also my weakness but it’s too distinct. It’s clear what I am good at and what I am bad at. I have music that I’m good at and then music that I am good at singing. The difference between what you’re good and bad at should be a certain amount but mine is too big. Like for example, I really can’t sing ballad songs.

Mm, it doesn’t suit you somehow.
I can’t do “I love you” or songs like that. But I have to do it.

It doesn’t seem like you think it’d be nice to be good at everything.
It doesn’t matter to me if I was good at the things I liked, but I’m in a team. I don’t think about selfishly being good at things, but rather I don’t want to hurt the team.

Looking at “Real”, “Up & Down”, “Electric Heart”, and other SHINee songs that you picked as your favorite, I think you can recognize which music is sensible and sensational in this generation. Isn’t that right?
You know how there’s that thing? Like when you look at a girl group, there’s always that one who gets the most attention and is well liked. Of course that person is pretty, but I like this other person more. It’s like that. Of course we have to use that song as a title track, but I like this song more. It’s like that. People who I connect with like the same things I do. Our taste in music is similar and we agree on good restaurants.

Could it be that you’re only hanging out with those kind of friends?
I don’t think I have much in common with the guys my age.

You said you didn’t even know what off-side was.
Yes. I don’t know about soccer or sports that much. The type of girls I like are different, too.

What type of women do you like these days?
Kaya Scodelario!

I trust your senses, so I’ll ask you. What do you think SHINee needs right now?
We shouldn’t be too hasty. We shouldn’t think about the popularity or the money. I think we should do things that suit us the most right now, things that we can’t do once time passes. I hope we won’t be anxious. What’s the point of doing something now just to gain a little more popularity when you can do it later? I think the most important thing is not to look awkward.

So you’re saying that you should do things you can enjoy at your age?
Yes. Like when you try to look more mature when you are clearly young. If you try to look manly, people don’t think of you as manly but find that image cute. That can’t be helped. That’s why it’s better to go with it naturally.

You said that drawing comes the most naturally to you, right? Have you been drawing lately?
Yes. These days, I’m trying to create characters of my own.

How would you describe your drawings?
It has a lot of colors and makes your eyes hurt. When I brag to the people around me saying “I drew this”, they say it was drawn just like how I would do it.

What are the comments from the honest people around you?
They said, “The last one was better.”

What do you think about when you draw?
I just really like to draw. I don’t try to assign a meaning to drawing. “This color matches this shape. This color matches this texture.” That’s how I do it. It’s fun. I don’t think it’s necessary to live and only do one thing.

Then shall we hear what you would like to do at this time?
I want to draw, study, work on clothes if I had the chance, study abroad, be a radio DJ, I want to do it all. I even think about going to work lately.

If you go to work, you’d probably stop thinking all about it. How about our company?
Haha.

If you try something aside from music, people may have a good impression or a bad impression because of your fame. What do you think of that prejudice?
If I worry about that, it will be endless. I draw because I like to, not so others can like it. If I made a t-shirt, I’d probably make one that I’d want to wear. I wouldn't make one because I think a lot of people would buy it.

I heard that you make a promise to yourself every week, whether it be reading a lot of books or eating less instant food. What is your promise to yourself this week?
It's to exercise.

What’s your promise to yourself next week?
I need to be busy next week. I feel uneasy when I’m not busy. Even when I’m playing, I feel uneasy.

The last <Dazed> interview you did was 2 years ago. Do you remember that interview? Do you still think the same now?
Yes, I remember it all. I have a really good memory. I still hate releasing singles instead of proper full albums. The things I said and thought are still the same.

Then why did you say “I’ll get surgery or something on this” when you were getting your makeup done? You said that even though you’re not handsome that you like your own face.
I know all the flaws of my face. I don’t feel discontent of the things I can’t change. It was just whining, a joke. I really like myself.

Since we’re <Dazed & Confused>, I’ll ask you this. What do you feel the most dazed and confused about lately?
If I am an adult or not.

What’s left to do is… Wait for them mandarin oranges to start rolling into the house and the party is all set! XD

I am both satisfied and horrified by what I have done with my blog. Satisfied because I managed to make it red but not too red (since Chinese New Year is just around the corner) and horrified because both the background and the header is, well, the same person, in the same outfit, only with a different pose… And it’s Choi Minho, nonetheless, and not Taemin or something. And I’m starting to think maybe this layout is more suitable for my other blog, but I’m not in the mood to be changing layouts again…

…Not sure what I’m supposed to do right now. I’ll just leave it as it is right now and deal with it later or something. Who knows. I’ll probably just leave it as it is.

Look at that. That’s me more than ten years ago in an Indian traditional costume and my older sister behind me. So cute right? Lawlz. The things you find when you clear out a cupboard.

The unGodly collection of F4 DVDs I found from the same cupboard. I’m not sure what I was thinking back then. I wonder if I will feel the same way when I look at my SHINee collection ten years from now? XD

But what the heck, Vic Zhou got WAAAY more handsome and manly since then. And look at Vanness Wu now, all ‘God first, entertainer second’ and… Yeah.

Okay, I’m not really sure how they look like now NOW, but the last time I saw pictures they looked smookin’ hot yo. As for the other members, I don’t know, nor do I care. XP

So I finally went to KL again last week and LOOK AT THIS ALMIGHTY DRAGON ~~FLYING LIKE A BADASS~~ HANGING OUT IN PAVILLION. This was taken from the highest floor, if not the second highest floor in the mall, with my lousy camera phone. It turned out pretty well though, don’t you think? I know, you’ve probably seen a picture of this dragon a hundred thousand times already on Facebook but I TOOK THIS PICTURE, OKAY, with my lousy phone, so shush and admire the glorious decoration that even my lousy camera phone cannot destroy.

I also finally tried some Japanese crepés. Awesome shit, I was bloated after I had it. LoL. Bad idea to have it about an hour after lunch. I ordered banana with chocolate ice-cream and whipped cream, and dayum, it was yummy. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water.

I bought my new year clothes in KL, but didn’t bring them back because I only have so many hands and a measly little duffel bag so I left it in KL for my parents to haul back when they come back to celebrate Chinese New Year. I bought like 3 t-shirts and 3 shorts and… I need to buy more! XP I contemplated on buying shoes, but, shoes… I’m not supposed to buy any shoes, but I saw a pair of really pretty shoes. I didn’t buy them because I’m not supposed to buy shoes, but now I can’t get that stupid pair of shoes out of my mind… >< Damn shuz!

Look, I bought my younger sister unhealthy Rillakuma snacks. Proof shot, haha. I also bought her a Rillakuma pen but am too lazy to take a picture of.

I can relate to this. I often wonder – do you really hate it, or do you hate it because you heard that I hate it? Hm?

Worst way to try to start a conversation with me. No matter how much I like you, there is no way I can continue a conversation with a person who begins it with parroting something I said 5 minutes ago. True story. I can tell that you don’t mean it when you say you hate it when people parrot what you said 5 minutes ago.

Which is why I don’t usually spazz about Taemin with another fan, because I find it boring. We both think he’s cute/adorable/handsome/awesome/gay/asdfjkl;. Now what?

Which is also why I only have so many friends whom I can ramble endlessly to, because they are mostly unaffected/not as easily influenced by the things I say.

Which I guess is the reason why I have a bunch of overly critical friends who loves to hate the things I love. You know who you are.

Then it gets really annoying because you can only bear to hear so many times how you fell out of a fandom you used to be in with your friends and into another fandom that said friend isn’t very fond of. True story.

But, it my defense, we never really watched the same animes or read the same mangas anyway. And for Akito’s sake, shounen mangas are as generic as shoujo mangas, and I know, you’re going to say boys fighting are more interesting than girls blushing. I can never win in an argument against you, which is why I never bothered to prolong the argument even though we’ve discussed/argued countless times about how stupid and generic shoujo mangas are.

(and I would just stupidly agree with you because, yes, you’re right, shoujo manga girls are mostly whiny and dependent on their boyfriends BUT it doesn’t bother me, I’d rather watch girls cry than boys suffer from a small bruise even though they’ve just dodged about a million bullets)

(admit it, shounen or shoujo, they’re both ridiculous in their own ways)

And then, at the end of the day, we will both love what the other hate and hate what the other love, so it’s like we’re in two totally different fandoms, therefore I don’t see the problem with me switching fandoms.

Since I have gotten so detailed about shounen vs. shoujo, might as well do a shoutout.

Every time the snow starts falling on my blog, I’d look at my fish tank and wonder if they are feeling cold. And then I remember they are programmed pixels that couldn’t feel anything and the snow isn’t real.

Anyway, I just found out that annoying people appear on my Twitter timeline at approximately 12AM. So now I shall close my Twitter tab at exactly 12AM. I could have easily unfollowed her, but that would be kinda r00d since we’ve followed each other for ages. Although we don’t talk to each other often on Twitter or in real life. So closing Twitter, it shall be.

So I realised how much I hate real life drama, even if it doesn’t involve me. People posting on Facebook and Twitter and Tumblr about unrequited love and other such things. I swear, some of these girls treat their boyfriends like trash.

But then again, it’s none of my business.

So here I am, attempting to stream one of Korea’s year end music programmes with crappy Internet connection. Go figure.

Anyway, I’ve been sleeping a lot recently. I don’t usually take afternoon/evening naps, but I find myself falling asleep at about 4PM and waking up at 7PM. Which is just weird, considering I don’t usually take naps unless I am REALLY REALLY tired and sleep deprived. Or when the computer breaks down. LoL. My computer obviously didn’t break down, seeing as I am here lamenting about my fail!internet connection. Lé sob.

So, about two hours later, I finally watched TAEMIN’S AWESOMENESS on the ever reliable YouTube. I think kinda raped the replay button. Heh. Here’s a SUPER HD fancam, because the real broadcast did no justice to show off my husband’s awesomeness.

Like, wtf, make up your mind. If you want to be a bitch, be a proper bitch. You can’t be a bitch and be nice at the same time, because that way I don’t know whether I should be a bitch to you or be nice to you.

I simply don’t know how to deal with these people – that kind of person who says different things in front of different people. No, it’s not that they are two faced or that they tell lies. No, I think they’re probably just un-opinionated and just agrees with whatever whoever they are talking to at the moment is saying. Or maybe I am thinking too much and they really are nothing but multiple-faced idiots who thinks they are very clever and thinks that the people around them don’t realise the lies they are spreading.

As an example, when talking to a Belieber, they’d say, “Yeah, his songs are actually not bad.” and then when talking to someone who likes to trash talk JB, “Yeah, his prepubescent voice is disgusting.”

I’m just frustrated that you can never get the truth out of these people, you know? So do you like Justin Bieber or hate Justin Bieber or like to hate Justin Bieber or like Justin Bieber but is afraid of being judged or made fun of?

Like, seriously? What the fck is there to judge? Oh, this girl is a Belieber, she must be stupid?

Did you really think I’d think like that? If you do, then you underestimate me.

Which brings me to my next point.

Just because I keep quiet doesn’t mean I am judging you. I keep quiet because I am not a Bilieber; I don’t know anything about this Bieber except that a lot of people like to make fun of his prepubescent voice (which is long gone already, stop living in the past, geeez). I keep quiet because I’m not going to start squealing with you about how cute he is or how great his dancing is in Mistletoe (because I don’t know if he is cute or his dancing is great). I keep quiet because I’m not going to make fun of you – laughing at Bieber’s girly voice is so last century. I keep quiet so that you can fangirl away while I gather information about this Bieber person so that I can squeal with you about his awesome new haircut the next time we meet.

Here’s what I think. Pretend that I am your customer, and Bieber is the product, and you are the door-to-door salesperson. Sell your product. Convince your customer how great and fantabulous Bieber is. Because, friends, if I already hate Bieber, I would’ve already slammed the door in the salesperson’s face, or; if I already like Bieber, you’d be invited into my house to squeal about the pants Bieber wore in Never Say Never. If you are still standing at the doorstep, it simply means I know nothing of this Bieber thing, and it becomes your job, as a fan, to bring in another fan to your beloved fandom.

Or think that I am judging you for selling a product you think I will (or already) hate because I kept quiet. It’s your choice.

Since I have cheered up considerably from whatever mood I was in, (I might get pissed off at nothing again at the next second, wtf) I just want to say that…

I tried playing the oboe today! It wasn’t easy. In fact, it was pretty godamn hard, I could only get bursts of sounds, and they sounded a lot like farts. D;

So anyway, I went back to my old high school to visit the school band. They ordered new instruments! =O But I tried on my band director’s (old? new?) oboe and bassoon since the new ones aren’t here yet. The bassoon was easy, but it was also HUUUGE, it was hard to get a good grip on it. The oboe, on the other hand, was really really hard to blow because… I don’t know. Is it because the reed’s really tiny? D;

This is just one of the times when I am pissed off at anything and everything I come across.

Some girls are weird. They seem to take their boyfriends as this shield that they can conjure in times they need and they get angry when the shield doesn’t appear. They also expect the shield to appear without conjuring it because, apparently, the shield is supposed to be able to know when its master is in need of it. And gets angry when the shield doesn’t materialise in front of them immediately. About an hour later, when the shield does appear, its master begins sulking because the shield wasn’t there when they ‘need it the most’.

This is why I don’t look at my Facebook feeds anymore.

Don’t pretend that you’re okay when you’re not, for Akito’s sake.

Do you know how uncomfortable it is to have a blunt pencil jabbed against your sides? It doesn’t do any real harm, but I’d rather have someone shove a sword in my face and tell me to stay away from whatever they want me to stay away from with the sweetest smile on his/her face.

That way, I can write and draw at the same time. =w=

I feel like a hikikomori. Oh Goddess. I need to get out of the house more often. I shall be more active after the exams. Ufufufu.

I want to go out… But no roller skating, Himawari-chan, if you’re reading this. Because I don’t understand the novelty of spending so much on a sport that I can’t do and/or am not interested to do.

I have to sit for my Chemistry paper in 3 hours. I’m not sure why, but there’re always these unfavourable conditions on the day before I sit for my Chemistry paper. Take my previous major exam as an example. For some ungodly reason I had to be watching a kdrama that year. And for some ungodly reason the last episode was released on the night before my Chemistry paper.

This time, MNET Asian Music Awards was held on the night before (meaning last night) on 8TV and I stayed up to watch. Until 1.30AM. And then I continued staying up until 3.00AM to study and also to write because apparently plot bunnies are nocturnal.

It’s just so… Eh? I don’t know how to say this without sounding like a total hypocrite so if you get what I mean, GOOD JOB!

But, uh, really. If you’re going to do something, do it thoroughly. Pretending to be the good guy but then failing miserably is just, I don’t know, silly? But, I dunno, at least you tried, I guess. Though… It’s just. Baffling. To me. Uh. *shifty eyes*

Anyways, on to the football match. I’m not even sure what match it is. Uh. Sea Games, is it? Malaysia versus Indonesia. Whoots! I only watched bits of the game (because NCIS and Criminal Minds are so much more interesting than watching a ~~bunch of men trip each other~~ ball rolling about in the field…) and, uh, I’m not used to this? The last time I watched football was, what, two or three World Cups ago. When Brazil beat Germany. And Nakata was famous. Heh. I even kept the score charts. Don’t ask me why ~~(because I used to talk to my maid about it lol. Yes, I discussed football when I was a kid. Tragic, isn’t it?)~~. And no, Nakata wasn’t my idol. I know he’s Japanese and supposedly one of the hottest footballers then, but no. I was too young to appreciate hot, sweaty Japanese men running around in the field, dribbling a black and white sphere in a blue jersey (it was blue, right?).

Why do I have a feeling I mixed up two different World Cup games there?

Oh well.

The last penalty kick was awesome though. It was like “NO!! WHAT NOW?” and then, “Eh? It went in? Is that a goal?” and the roar outside my house confirmed it. It was a goal!! We won! =D

But I am still lurking around the Internet, mostly because I had to look for information for my test today (which I will elaborate further below) and when things got boring you just had to sign back into those websites and look for other more interesting things to occupy thyself with.

My paper today? Bri-li-ant. Kinda, but not really. All I can say is my teacher is awesome and I hope I did the right thing. DX Two out of the four essay questions had already been discussed during classes so the points came into my mind fairly well, but knowing how this world works, I probably screwed up something somewhere. XD I managed to control myself during my previous major examination (but faltered a bit when the last episode of this drama I was watching was released on the day before my Chemistry paper =O but hey, I survived =D) so we’ll see how well I will fare this time.

And now, the thing is, SHINee will be releasing a whole load of things (albums, calendars, photobooks) on the day before (and also on the day itself wtf) my Math Paper 2 (which really is the toughest paper KILLMENAO) and I just wonder if I would have enough self control. But then again the paper is in the morning so I guess I can go berserk online right after the paper?

I grinned like a mad fool when I thanked my teachers today. Today is my last day of school, beaches. Yeah, I know, I still have a long way to go, and there’s still that major exam I might screw up and I might end up with a course that I do not want, but what the heck. No more shit school. To think I’ve never hated a school this much. Looking back, IJC is a sanctuary, really. It wasn’t filled with shit teachers, or shit toilets, or shit administrations. Yeah, the toilet got a tad bit creepier when it was repainted with a colour very wrongly chosen, but, God, the Shit School’s toilet? Disastrous.

Anyway, I really have pretty much decided on a certain course, but I am worried that I wouldn’t get it, and although I do have a back-up plan, I am still worried that the back-up plan might not work and I am also not very keen on it. A plan is still a plan though.

(And also, the thing is, I sort of decided on it at the spur of the moment, and I am afraid, so so afraid, that I might just lose my determination and find it a chore instead of something I really, really want to do. But it was also something I have thought about a lot, and I’ve never felt that I want to do something to contribute this much.)

My examination schedule is kinda ridiculous, but I am kinda grateful for its ridiculousness. Monday, Thursday, Wednesday, Thursday, Tuesday, Thursday, Tuesday, Thursday. Eight papers, spread out nicely through four weeks. Brilliant? Kinda, but not really. It’s rather torturous, but at the same time it gives us enough (or rather, somewhat extends) time to study and cram more things into our useless little heads.

4 more weeks. If hell breaks loose, well, let me be damned.

It feels as though Taemin said something I’ve wanted to say for a very long time but never did, because I refuse to be so openly jealous. XP

I feel like such a two-faced bitch but honestly speaking, I am at least 99.9% sincere when I talk to anybody, okay. Because I am a seriously bad liar and whatever hatred/annoyance I have for you will never be masked over with a fake smile.

I find myself talking about Taemin a lot lately! I don’t do that in real life often, because I am surrounded by people who thinks Taemin looks like a girl and will never fail to bring this up whenever I talk about him. I know he looks like a girl, okay. I like him that way. (But that doesn’t mean I like hearing people say they mistook him as a girl) I also like that he tries to act manly and honestly, I fell in love with his thought of wanting to be manly itself and his efforts, and the results matter little to me. (Because one minute he’d be like RAWR I’M SO MANRY and next he’d be all I’M SO CUTE LIKE ME LIKE ME wtf bipolar kid)

I probably sound a little crazy and creepy right now, but unfortunately for you, I am fully aware of the fact that he is a celebrity that I will probably never meet and even if I do, no, I have never thought of getting married with him and no, I don’t think I will marry him someday, or have his babies, WTF is wrong with you people? He’s just the kid whose picture I look at whenever I’m bored; the kid whose dance skills never fail to amaze me. He’s something like your favourite nephew who looks damn cute and you just want to huggle him and keep him safe and watch him grow.

Only Taemin has no blood ties with me and lives halfway across the globe and travels to all the places I have always wanted to visit. OTL

Well yeah you know how I get a little bit obsessive when I find something that interests me?

Ben Barnes is so handsome!

I find the plot rather interesting. To transfer all your imperfections onto a painting, to let the painting bear all your sins and ugliness, to live a life without consequences. To indulge oneself with one’s pleasures for the rest of his life.

It’s a very interesting movie! And Ben Barnes is unbelievably handsome! To think he was, what, 28 years old when he filmed that movie? =O

The other reason I so love love love this movie is the setting and the era of this movie. It was set in the Victorian Era, and the costumes are just wonderful! <3 The buildings! The interior! The furnitures! The carriages! The clothes! <3

But you’re just too f*cked up… I mean, sure, I’ve tried accepting your ways – it’s not like I can change anything even if I want to – but why are you like this? Can’t you be at least a little bit organised? Why wouldn’t anyone be bothered enough to make an official announcement at least two days before? Why? I fell asleep in class today.

Physics class, no less. I was actually surprised that I was totally knocked out (because usually I could still hear the soft buzz of the teacher speaking in front of the class) and went into a deep slumber for about 15 minutes and woke up with a really sweaty forehead (I was lying my forehead against my forearm to shield myself from the overall brightness of the day and hiding my sleeping face because I am conscious like that >___<) and just… Really hot and sweaty all over.

This ain’t coming out right. D; In my defence I live in a very hot country and it was 2 o’clock in the afternoon/evening and even with a loosened tie around my neck it is still effing hot and it’s my first day of you-know-what and my hip hurts like an old grandma. Ugh.

A friend of mine told me that she follows one of my many blogs! So I began tracing back to my last new follower in hopes of discovering her account.

Like a real stalker I see. LoL.

I don’t mind, really, but I’m really curious about her blog, so I checked her Facebook page.

Nothing.

And thus my hunt began. So after a lot of blog hopping, I finally found a lead – her sister. Surely her sister follows her blog, right? But her sister follows about 200 blogs. But I was pretty desperate. So yah. After clicking through about to about 200 blogs written in Chinese by your typical la la mui who uses edited/photoshopped camwhore pictures of themselves as their blog header, I FOUND NOTHING. OTL

I must have missed clicking a few blogs, and I know it must be a google account because you need a google account to follow on blogspot but I forgot about the new favicon function so I only clicked on blogs with the orange blogger icons until the last 3 pages when I remembered about the new favicon widget but I was too tired to click back and track back and ARGHHH I’ll do it later or something OTL And then there are also private blogs…

Moving on, you know one of those handphone straps I buy to hang on my phone? The KPOP ones?

So since I have about a bunch of them, I strapped one onto my pencil box ~~so that I can ogle at them when class gets boring~~ and it so happens that one of my teacher (my Chemistry teacher, to be exact) saw it and she went,

There is not one person who has NOT taken one look at Taemin and asked if he is a girl, just to piss me off.

So, once and for all, no, he is not a girl. But he enjoys cosplaying Barbie during his free time. Honestly speaking, I have a better picture of him in his Barbie outfit, but who knows what kind of dirty old men he will attract so I guess I would have to keep it to myself.

This has nothing much to do with Taem, but I just found out that, instead of being a Piscean, I am an ~~Ariesian. Ariesian? LoL. Like Asian, Ariesian. WTF. --- Okay, I looked it up, it’s~~ Arien. Here’s a little info to all Horoscope noobs out there who are at least a little bit interested and wants to know wtf I am talking about.

So, I was born on the 20th of March, which, if you look up the horoscope charts, is the last day in the Piscean horoscope. However, there are also charts that categorise those born on the 20th March an Arien, which is where all the confusion began. So what am I, reallly? A Piscean or an Arien?

There are two speculations. Some believe that a person born “on the cusp” has a little bit of both signs while others think that a person can only be born under one sign and therefore cannot be influenced by both. I wasn’t bothered by all these cusp crap at first, but I got curious, so following the latter’s belief, I went to search if I am really a Piscean or an Arien by checking the exact time the signs changed on 20th March <insert year I was born here>. And it turns out that I was born after the change. Which means I am an Arien, not Piscean, as I have previously thought. I was devastated, because all my life I’ve believed that I am a Piscean. I feel cheated, okay. *insert dramatic sob here*

What made me sadder was the fact that Pisceans are VERY VERY VERY compatible with Cancerians, and Taemin’s a Cancerian…

Online, Netizens quarrel about shit no one really cares about and offline, people quarrel about shit no one really cares about too! You guys really have too much free time in your hands. Give me some.

On another note, while doing some Chemistry questions last night, I started doodling after looking at the second question. Why is this so shit hard? Why? Why am I so stupid? Why am I still blogging when I really should be studying? Why? WHY??

TL;DR:
But anyway, I doodled… A mushroom. I was drawing a cartoon Taemin at first, a cartoon of Taemin when he had long hair during the Lucifer promotions. Then I drew his mushroom hair and started drawing circles in his hair out of whim and started colouring his hair with my red pen, leaving out the circles so that they remain white… And then I drew its stem and shaded it and wrote Taemin’s name in Hangul on it. Then I drew a speech bubble that said “Hi! I’m a mushroom.”

And then after doodling I took out my notebook and started writing. OTL I have no self control I tell you.

It never occurred to me that the KPOP fandom actually have fanfics, but I have just recently (okay, not really, more like a few months back) discovered this whole new world of KPOP fanfiction which I actually swore to myself to not fall back into this endless hole of rainbows and unicorns… But I fell. OTL

While I don’t really like the layout of asianfanfics, LiveJournal has a whole community of Shawol (SHINee World a.k.a. what SHINee fans call themselves, eg: Shia Ryu is a Shawol. You may now laugh.) writers and asdfjkl; they write amazing shit, not just cheesy fluff and PWP smut but deep shit stuff like they have a mothafugging doctorate in writing.

Or it could just be me being a total n00b at this. But it felt as though I’ve discovered a whole new world!

Onew’s singing sounds odd at the beginning of the song and the chorus just sounds… weird. But other than that, the song’s okay. Especially Key’s part, he sang really smoothly~ GO KEY! =D It’s probably just me, but Jjong sounded as though he lost some power in his voice. Minho’s singing is just weirddd… He sang in a pitch I have never heard coming from him before. But his rapping rocks! *ㅂ* Taemin… Taemin barely had a whole verse to himself. So, it turned out that I was never in the mood to blog about National Service. I wouldn't say NS was a waste of time, but it did take away a chunk of my life. I've met many people, made many friends, enjoyed holding a rifle... It was a sweet and memorable experience, yet a very frustrating one at the same time. It's like being in comatose for 2 whole months where NS was just a dream you had. Only that it was real.

Mixed feelings. :/

And then, amidst of all the catching up, shit happens. Even though the shit was solved, there are still traces of it left.

Pushing shit problems aside, I don't find the fun in blogging anymore. D= So I'm going to take a break. A temporary one or permanent one? We'll see. Anyway, even if I do blog again, I'll be switching to a brand new blog. But of course, I'll let you guys know. =)

Hello, fellow readers. This, unfortunately, is a post to inform you guys about my short hiatus~ I’ll be going to some faraway place where there are no computers, what more Internet access to go online, whether to update my blog or to update myself about the outside world.

Yes, it’s like a camp, but heck, I get to hold a Cold M-16. Yes, it’s the National Service camp!!! Boy, I’m so excited about it!!!

Did you sense the sarcasm in the last sentence? Yes? No? It doesn’t matter. I am, no, was, quite excited about it, until… The packing begins. Actually, I haven’t even started packing. Gaaah. It’s just such a pain in the ass.

Or, maybe, I am just bitter because I had to return D.Gray-Man to Jill and have nothing to do… Now… *sobs* And there’s this stupid itchy bubble blister thing on my thumb. Toot.

Anyway, I should be back by mid-May. Until then~

GACC 2010

What the fuuuck. I was just testing this new blog layout, but it was saved right away. Toot. And I didn’t save the previous layout, which I spent like a fuck-load of time to fix. WTF.

Anyway, moving on to GACC 2010.

Day one was one heck of a shitty day. GACC clashed with MMU’s open day, so they had to use a smaller hall. Not that I mind, but who knew that a fuck-load of people are going to turn up this year? Nevermind the crowd, the air-cond was as good as a campfire lit up in the middle of the room. Noise level? It was as high as it could be. Amateurish bands were banging on their guitars and screaming their heads off at the microphone. Day one was, as you can see, as horrible as it can be.

But, on the upside, the food was much better (than day 2, because they’re food that I actually eat XD) and the cosplayers are just awesome.

Day two was much better, what with the venue changed back to the usual, much larger and better air-conditioned hall. Cosplayers are still as awesome as usual, the stage bigger (but it was falling apart), there were seats… Crowd’s still the same.

Food. There was no food! Okay, they sold bentos, but they only have unagi. D= Yeah, yeah, I know how some people worship unagi to the point of no return, I know it’s expensive fish, but I just don’t like unagi! DX I ended up starving myself (except for that one pudding I bought which was, exactly like what the emcee said, legendary) until I reached home at around 6 o’clock and gobbled up my dinner. I was damn pissed off and tired man.

The cosplay competition was… Hilarious. Especially the winner, Grell Sutcliff from Kuroshitsuji. Today must be his lucky day since the assignments he got for the competition were all related to BL, which is his trademark, really. He went around flirting with the emcee, who, luckily, was happy enough to play along with him. You can just imagine how the fujoshis in that room went crazy with their hoots of encouragements. So, basically, if Grell Sutcliff hadn’t joined the cosplay competition, GACC day two would have been a dull day for me.

Plus, there were lots of crossplayers today (which is day two, in case you didn’t know). One of them is C.C. from Code Geass R2. He performed in a band of, uhm, seven? His red guitar was awesome!!! Their bassist was also a crossplayer. Teehee. But their performance was… Eheh. Unspeakable.

Aaand that’s about it, I suppose. XD I’ve stopped working since last Monday but I hadn’t had anything to update my blog about… Or even if I do, I was too lazy. Haha. Could this be the end of my blogging days? We shall wait and see. ;D

Whoa, I can see the fireworks through the window of my room... I mean, of course you can see the fireworks through the window of my room, but what I'm more amazed at is the fact that I'm sitting right in front of my comp and all... LoL.

Ah, the curtain's blocking the smaller ones... Though when the big ones appeared it was like BOOM!! And lighted up the whole room.

Okay, the last bit was exaggerated, it didn't light up the room cos my room's already brightly lit... LMAO.

Whoa. C.N. Blue sure is getting famous. When I first learnt about them, they were extremely new - no Wiki page and only a mini album released about a month before. Honestly speaking, I didn't really like their first album - they're all english songs and I thought they weren't good... Despite the fact that they do play their instruments and Yong Hwa's singing... Haha.

Anyway, I didn't really pay attention to their Korean debut. I kept up with whatever the A.N.JELLS are doing through an LJ community, but that's it. So when they debuted, all I did was watch their new MV, thought it was not bad, and forgot about it.

Until today, when I rewatched You're Beautiful, rewatched the scene where Yong Hwa sang 'I'm A Fool'. He still sounded... raw? Haha. Then I downloaded the rest of their albums. Or at least tried to, but the link to the second album seems to be dead so I only managed to download their third mini album, which is their Korean debut. I think.

My opinion? Their more suited to sing in Korean. Maybe it's because I couldn't understand the lyrics, but I honestly enjoyed the music, especially their first track, 'I'm A Loner'.

Anyway, reading their Wiki page, I'm shocked.

On the January 14, the band released their debut mini-album and took the number one spot on the Mnet real time charts and second spot on the Hanteo charts.

That was totally unexpected.

Teehee. They're releasing their first album (in Japanese and English) on my birthday. XD

And Yong Hwa plays the clarinet FTW! Ahaks.

Eheh. Hello thar. It's been awhile. I changed the layout a few days ago, but couldn't update properly. I like the new background a lot (drawn by Ai Yazawa). The new header looks a bit out of place though. I'll probably replace it if I find anything better. ;D
